Aquest dissabte, 24 de març, el president del Centre Tecnològic Forestal de Catalunya (CTFC), Josep M. Pelegrí, ha signat un conveni de col·laboració amb la Federació Catalana d’Associacions de Propietaris Forestals (BOSCAT).
La col·laboració s’estableix en el marc dels projectes Biomass Trade Centre II, finançat pel programa IEE, i PROFORBIOMED, del programa INTERREG MED. En aquests dos projectes hi participa el CTFC com a soci.
Boscat col·laborarà en l’organització, difusió i realització d’esdeveniments del primer dels projectes, i en facilitar informació de dades dasomètriques i topogràfiques i sobre localització d’actuacions d’extració de biomassa de què disposa Boscat, i en l’execució de proves pilot.
Per la seva part, el CTFC farà partícep a BOSCAT de la informació que es generi en el marc dels projectes, tant a Catalunya com a altres països.
Boscat és una entitat sense afany de lucre, que recolza, representa i coordina els interessos de dinou associacions de propietaris forestals federades, amb capacitat tècnica i econòmica per a l’execució de treballs forestals en 76.000 ha associades a les entitats que representa. Una de les seves principals línies de treball és el foment de la biomassa forestal per a usos energètics.
On Saturday, 24th March, the president of the Forest Sciences Center of Catalonia (CTFC), Josep M. Pelegrí, signed a convention agreement with the Catalan Federation of Forest Ownership Associations (BOSCAT).
The agreement sets in the frameworks of projects Biomass Trade Center II, funded by the IEE program, and PROFORBIOMED, of the INTERREG MED program. CTFC participates as a partner of these both projects.
Boscat is going to collaborate in the organization, dissemination and holding events of the first project, and in providing information data dasometry and topography and about the situation of the biomass removal activities that Boscat availables, and in the implementation of the pilot trials.
CTFC will inform BOSCAT about the generated knowledge in the framework projects, in Catalonia and in others countries.
Boscat is a nonprofit entity that supports, represents and coordinates the interests of the nineteen forest federated ownership associations, with technical and economic capacity to implement forest works in 76.000 ha that are associated to the entities that represents. One of the main working lines is the promotion of the forest biomass with energy purposes.
