El Centre Internacional d’Aigua i Medi Ambient (CIAMA) de la Alfranca a Saragossa, rep el dijous i el divendres, 7 i 8 de juliol de 2011, la segona reunió del Comitè Directiu del projecte Wood E3 “explotació de l’energia de fusta per a l’Empreniment”, en que participen set socis de 5 països europeus. La reunió permetrà als socis consolidar els resultats obtinguts fins ara, així com planificar i coordinar les següents tasques a través de mètodes comuns per a tota la regió europea de la Mediterrània.
Wood E3 és un projecte transnacional amb l’objectiu de fomentar l’ús sostenible i racional dels recursos forestals com a font d’energia, per mitjà d’una millora de l’eficiència econòmica del sector, la promoció de les cadenes de subministrament més eficients i afavorir el suport de l’Administració als empresaris dels sectors implicats.
Es tracta d’un projecte finançat pel programa europeu Interreg MED. Els set socis participants provenen de Grècia, Eslovènia, Itàlia, França i Espanya. El pressupost del projecte és d’1.247.582 € i té una durada prevista de dos anys i mig.
1r any del projecte
El desenvolupament del Wood E3 va començar l’estiu passat, per tal de millorar l’eficiència econòmica del sector de la fusta com a font d’energia, els processos de mobilització diferents i les cadenes de subministrament.
Després del primer any, la tasca de la capitalització i la identificació de les dades existents ha acabat. La informació ha estat obtinguda de totes les regions perquè totes les dades siguin comparables i compatibles.
El CTFC, en el cas de Catalunya, ha aportat informació sobre els tipus i quantitats dels recursos de biomassa disponibles en aquest territori, així com els mètodes d’explotació, els costos i preus, una revisió de la legislació, els projectes actualment en desenvolupament, referències bibliogràfiques i agents del sector.
Tota aquesta informació es compila en un informe. Actualment es treballa en la creació d’una base de dades en línia a nivell europeu que tindrà lliure accés per a tots els interessats del sector. Així com s’està elaborant una eina de càlcul d’emissions de CO2.
Pàgina web
La pàgina web del projecte, www.woode3.eu, s’utilitza com una plataforma de comunicació entre els socis i totes les parts interessades del sector de la biomassa a Europa. Serà utilitzat per presentar bases de dades i eines que permetin a les parts interessades avaluar l’impacte de qualsevol projecte de biomassa en aspectes ambientals, econòmics, socials i de govern.
En el període següent projecte, CTFC promourà reunions temàtiques a Catalunya amb diferents actors i empresaris del sector amb l’objectiu d’implicar en el procés creatiu d’aquestes eines per tal de donar la màxima utilitat, millorar la competitivitat de les empreses, i considerar els aspectes d’interès de cada sector.
The International Center of Water and Environtment from Alfranca in Saragossa, received, in 7th and 8th July 2011, the second meeting of the Wood E3 Project Steering Committee “exploitation of energy wood for entrepreneurship”, in which participate seven partners from 5 European countries. The meeting will allow partners to consolidate the acheived results until now, as well as, to manage and to coordinate the following tasks through of comun methodes for all the European region of the Mediterranian basin.
Wood E3 is a transnational project that has the goal to promote the sustainable and rational use of the forest resources as an energy source, through of the improvement of the economic efficiency of the sector, the promotion of the supply chains most efficient and encourage the support of the administration towards entrepreneurs of the involved sectors.
It’s a project funded by the Interreg MED European Program. The seven partners proceed from Greece, Slovenia, Italy, France and Spain. The project budget is 1.247.582€ and it will last two years and a half.
First Year of the project
The last summer has started the development of the Wood E3 to improve the economic efficiency of the wood sector as an energy source, the processes of mobilization and the supply chains.
After the first year, it finished the task of the capitalization and identification of the data. The information has been obtained by all the regions to be able to compare and make compatible the all data.
In Catalonia CTFC contributed with information about the types and quantities of the available biomass resources in the territory, as well as, the exploitation methodes, the costs and prices, the review of the legislation, the projects which are working now, bibliographic references and sectors players.
All this information is compiled in a report. Currently, an European database online has been created to be accessible by all the interested sector people. Also, a tool for calculating CO2 emissions is being created.
Web
The project web, www.woode3.eu, is used by the partners and all the interested parties of the European biomass sector as a communication platform. This will present a database and tools that allow to the stakeholders to evaluate the environment, economic and social impact of the any biomass project.
During the next period of the project, CTFC will promote several thematic meetings in Catalonia with differents actors and entrepreneurs of the sector with the goal to involve in the creative process of these tools to obtain the maximum utility, to improve the competitivity of the enterprises and consider the aspects of interest of each sector.
